Installing the Rank Math Plugin for the First Time

    Dear Rank Math Support Team,

I have recently transitioned from Yoast to the free version of Rank Math and, as a novice user, I have endeavored to follow the provided tutorials to the best of my ability.

My Google Analytics account is operational. Initially, I integrated Google Analytics with my WordPress site using the MonsterInsights plugin, though I must confess I’m not entirely certain due to my lack of experience. However, MonsterInsights was indeed installed and active.

Within Analytics, my active property, which is tracking data, is denoted by a series of numbers without the “UA” or “GA4” prefix, leaving me uncertain whether it is a GA4 property. Upon accessing the “Data Streams” section as an administrator, I see two streams listed, both of which have received traffic in the last 48 hours. One is labeled “GA4,” and the other “MonsterInsights – Https//Lightman.it” (with “lightman.it” being my site’s name).

During Rank Math’s setup wizard in easy mode, it recognizes my “Lightman.it” account and property. It then offers me a choice between two data streams: GA4 and MonsterInsights. Subsequently, there is an option to “Install Analytics Code.”

After deactivating the MonsterInsights plugin, I selected the GA4 data stream. Initially, the analytics indicator in Rank Math’s menu turned green but did not display any data. Shortly after, it reverted to red, and upon revisiting the setup wizard, the previously selected options had vanished. Repeated attempts yielded the same outcome. The same occurs when selecting the MonsterInsights data stream.

I have spent several hours seeking a resolution to no avail and am uncertain about how to proceed. I kindly request your assistance to continue using Rank Math, as these challenges are proving to be quite troublesome.

Looking forward to your helpful response,

    David Fassoli
