Could you please confirm which social media apps you’re referring to? We’ve asked since the og:image meta tag is already using the featured image.

Upon checking the link using the Facebook debugger tool, it is showing correctly:

If there aren’t any updates available for you. You may want to reinstall the Rank Math plugin in order to have the updated plugin. Don’t worry about losing your settings or SEO optimizations as they are safely stored in the database.

Please note that the WhatsApp platform has a limit on the size of the image and it works best for images that are below 300Kb in size, even though it’s possible that some images above that might show sometimes but it’s very finicky and not consistent. So, if you’re using an image more than 300kb in size, we suggest you to decrease the image size and check again.

I’ve checked the image that was set as the image for the og:image tag and it seems that it’s still sized as 959kb:

You will need to manually select the image you’ve reduced the size to in your OpenGraph settings. To do this, edit your pages > Rank Math Settings > Social > Edit Snippet:

The image file size is still 960kb, and it is set in the og:image tag.

Please add this smaller image in the social tab by following the steps in this link:
https://rankmath.com/kb/meta-box-social-tab/#facebook-options

Once done, clear your website’s cache and check again the URL in WhatsApp.

The image that’s being used still has the same file size as me and my colleague has stated.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

As for the Analytics not updating, let’s try deleting old imported data and start the fresh data fetch. Please follow these steps.

1. Head over to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Tools & Status > Database Tools and click the Rebuild Index button

2. Head over to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics tab, and click the Delete Data button and then click the Update Data Manually

3. It will start the new data fetch from Google. You can reload the page to see the notice related to the import process.

4. Once the process is complete. Please re-check the Analytics page and all the data should be showing up correctly.
