    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting support.

The issue is not with the missing application ID as even with that missing the images would be displayed.

The issue is caused by the fact that you are using WebP images and those very rarely work on OpenGraph so we recommend using an image that is acceptable by their guidelines (JPEG, PNG or GIF) to make sure that the image can be displayed when sharing on social media.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the reply, but I have been using this formula in my site for more than three years, and the problem appeared two days ago

    Hello,

After debugging the issue further, it looks like the issue is occurring because of the Arabic characters on your image file name. You can check the thread with the same issue: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/78094746/handling-arabic-characters-in-image-urls-for-facebook-link-previews

Please try to change the file name and after clearing your website cache, check the URL again with the Facebook Sharing Debugger tool.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

Do you think this is the right solution! How will I change the names of photos to a second language !

The Website is in Arabic and the target audience speaks Arabic.

Secondly, I have been using the Arabic language on the site for more than three years and the problem did not exist.

    Hello,

If you check the same URL to other social media platforms like Twitter or Linked, you will see that the social images are rendered just fine.

So there must be an issue where Facebook can’t parse the image file path. As you can notice in the thread we recently shared, this issue has risen just recently so this might be a new case we need to address.

Just for the sake of testing that theory, please change the file name just for that post and see if that changes the situation.

If not then this is something we need to investigate further.

Lastly, upon checking the affected page, we noticed that you have a big block of code before the og:image as you can see from the screenshot below:

This type of implementation may also cause issues for social media like Facebook to retrieve the og:image tag. Here’s a further detail about that: https://rankmath.com/kb/open-graph-image-not-displaying/#num-4-5-ogimage-found-towards-the-end-of-source-code

    Looking forward to helping you.
