Excluding language from sitemap

    Hello,

    Our website is translated from the default Polish language to Romanian using TranslatePress, and set up to only display in Romanian when visited. However when googling the site, results for pages/products show in polish.

    How can I completely exclude the polish version of all pages/products from the sitemap and only keep Romanian?

    The hidden polish version has /pl right after the domain and the Romanian /ro if that helps

    I appreciate your help!

    Meanwhile, in TranslatePress, the SEO pack addon integration adds the translated URLs to our sitemap automatically.

    Could you please confirm if you’re using the addon on your site?

    Thank you for your patience.

    Since you’re using the addon plugin, then all of your translated URLs will be included unless deactivating it on your site.

    In this case, we recommend getting in touch with the TranslatePress team on how to disable its feature to automatically adds all the URLs to the sitemaps when the SEO Pack is enabled on your site.
