The recent issue with Rank Math and Elementor was the “Publish” or “Update” button kept getting highlighted even after successfully publishing or saving the post which our developers are already aware of and are working on a fix for the next update of the plugin.
In your case, the issue is different. The issue is that your WordFence application is blocking Rank Math’s API route for saving metadata.
Please see the screenshot in the sensitive data section.
To address this issue, you would need to whitelist our API routes in your WordFence. Please refer to this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/meta-data-not-saving/#firewall
As for your issues with the large data in your post_meta table, all the meta_keys from your video screencast are from Elementor. Our meta names always start with rank_math_*
and our plugin doesn’t generate or modify Elementor-related metas. Can you please confirm if you already contacted Elementor about your database issue?
