The issue seems to point to your Redirection module. For your initial troubleshooting, please head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database tools and click on the button “Re-create Database Tools”. After that, check if you are still having the same issue with Rank Math’s redirection settings.

Yes that solved this issue. However by turning that off doesn’t that affect the managing of redirects?

The steps provided by my colleague are to click the recreate database tables only, and should not affect your redirects.
