Back to the issue, can you please confirm if you’re testing the Schema from the code validator? This is a bug in our plugin that multiplies the FAQ Schema when checking using the code validator of the Schema generator. However, the Schema is applied correctly in the front end and will not cause any issues with the SEO of your post. We are working on resolving this and will soon release a fix.

For now, please ignore the error of code validation and check the URL directly to make sure if the Schema is validating fine or not.

The category base is actually already been removed. What you see at the moment, is the name of the category as we don’t remove it just by turning on the “Remove Category Base” option.
Please head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalink and ensure you don’t add the %category% tag in the permalink field:
