  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support. We apologize for the late reply – Your message somehow got stuck in our spam filter.

Here are the answers to your questions:

    1. Google has detected duplicate content on these two pages and has decided to index the one it thinks is original.

Since you have deleted the duplicate page, you should also ask Google to remove it from its index, then use the URL Inspection Tool to request the indexing of the original page.

    2. Google has crawled the page but has not indexed it yet – This could happen for various reasons. You can learn more about how to fix this issue here.
    3. Yes, you can ignore these pages since they no longer exist – They will disappear when Google updates its index.
    4. This is because the canonical tag of your .org domain is pointing to the .com version.

If the .com domain is the original, then this is fine. Google is just informing you that it found other pages with canonical links to this one (you might also want to redirect the whole .org site to the .com version).

We hope this helps you understand and resolve the issue better. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us again. We’re always here to assist you.

Thank you for choosing Rank Math!

    One other clarification.

    Example
    https://natureinfocus.com/plant-profiles/
is listed as excluded by Noindex tag. Source page shows
    meta name=”robots” content=”follow, index”

Why would these pages be listed that way? I don’t think any are set to Noindex.

When i inspect the URL, index tab says URL is on Google and in next box it says it is indexed. On Live Test tab it just says page can be indexed.

Just to be sure I understand correctly Google is telling me that the page IS INDEXED? And I need to inspect each URL in the Noindex list?

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Sometimes Google Search Console can mix things up, the most important thing is that the page is indeed set to index and Google has already indexed the page.

This would most likely correct itself when next Google crawls your site. For now, you can ignore it.

We hope this helps clarify. Thank you for your patience and cooperation
