Duplicate Field ‘FAQPage’ #789154

    Hi there,
In my FAQ page, I have used the FAQ template and populated all the Q&A fields.
When I test this in GSC it gives me the above error (Duplicate field ‘FAQPage’).
I’m using this with Elementor PRO, (where I’ve built all my pages) and have placed a ‘TAB’ element to build my FAQ page, but this element does not include a FAQ toggle option, (as is the case with Accordion element), so I couldn’t have a duplicate FAQ mark up in this way as suggested in my previous post to your support.
I also visited and read through your other suggested pages with possible solutions, but none seem to apply in my case. I don’t use any other plugins for generating any schema mark up either.
What else could be causing this issue please!

    Thank you

  • Hello,

Thank you for reaching out about the issue you are facing with the Duplicate Field ‘FAQPage’ error in Google Search Console.

Based on the information provided, it seems like you have already tried some of the common solutions suggested by our support resources. Since you are using Elementor PRO to build your pages and the TAB element doesn’t include a FAQ toggle option, it’s possible that the duplication is occurring due to how the FAQ Schema is being generated or nested within your page.

To address this issue, I recommend checking how the FAQ Schema is being added to your page using Rank Math. If you are manually populating the Q&A fields within the FAQ template, ensure that there are no conflicting FAQ Schema markup being generated elsewhere on the page.

If you have added the FAQ Schema using Rank Math’s Schema Generator, make sure that there are no additional FAQ Schema blocks or markup being added unintentionally.

If the issue persists, I suggest reviewing the Schema markup directly in the page source to identify any duplicate or conflicting FAQ Schema entries. You can also use Google’s Rich Results Testing Tool to analyze the specific markup causing the duplication.

If you need further assistance, please reply to this ticket, and our support team will investigate the issue more thoroughly.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused.

We checked the page and can see that it is showing the duplicate “FAQpage” error in the Google rich snippet.

The additional FAQ is most likely caused by a conflicting theme or plugin.

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
