  • Hello,

I apologize for the crawling, indexing, and sitemap issues you are experiencing. Thank you for providing the screenshots showing the errors you are facing.

Based on the information you provided, it seems like your posts are not being crawled or indexed, and your sitemap is not being read correctly in Google Search Console. To address these issues, please follow these steps:

    1. Ensure Your Posts Are Set to Index:

      • Go to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta.
      • In the Robots Meta settings, make sure the Index checkbox is enabled.
      • Save the changes.

    2. Validate Your Sitemap:

      • Use the Validate XML Sitemap tool to confirm your sitemap is correctly configured.
      • If configured correctly, the tool will return a success message.

    3. Ensure the Sitemap is Located in the Root Folder:

      • Make sure your sitemap is installed in the root folder of your WordPress installation.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

The “URL is unknown to Google” indicates that Google has not discovered this URL before and has not crawled it yet. You can manually submit the URLs using the GSC URL inspection tool and see if that works for you: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9012289?hl=en

Regarding the sitemap issue, we checked your sitemap and we can see it is working properly without any issues. In this case, please try to follow the steps below and see if that works for you:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

Once done, clear your website cache, remove all the submitted sitemap, and resubmit only the /sitemap_index.xml in the Search Console.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    1. I even submitted the url manually but it is still not working.

    2. Also tried flushing the sitemap cache.

But no problem is being solved

    Hello,

We checked your sitemaps and they appear to be working fine as shown in the image below:

    Please resubmit the sitemap.

We suggest waiting for a few hours or days to allow Google to recrawl the page. Then check the console for updates.

Alternatively, you can use Rank Math Instant Indexing to get the posts indexed. Here is a guide you can follow: https://rankmath.com/blog/google-indexing-api/

Please let us know how this goes.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
