Conflicting with ListingPro Theme Causing Redirect Error

    Wordpress + RankMath + ListingPro Themes

    Howdy, we finally got feedback from the theme author. Apparently RankMath is conflicting with pages causing a redirect mechanism to home page as set on the 404 fallback.

    We done an extensive test until we discovered out which plugin causing the issues. Only when we disable RankMath the issue is solved.

    Please advise, as we just gone life yesterday, until we start receiving complains. Not what you need it in a grand launch.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    If your theme has its own custom redirections and it is not compatible with Rank Math, you don’t need to disable the entire Rank Math but the Redirections module.

    To do it you can go to the WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math plugin Dashboard and there disable the Redirections module:
    null

    Thank you very much for your feedback.

    It isn’t the redirection plugin, we done so to no avail. The redirection is merely a reflection and we confirmed it is the RankMath Plugin itself.

    I will invite you to take a closer deep look. And I saw you already has a Locations conflict that needs to be addressed manually with the theme.

    You can check the locations behavior by visiting the site, click on any of the locations “North America” and you will observe that it did error out. If you disable RankMath, it doesn’t. To be more specific, if you disable Redirection it will still error out. Leads us to believe that the core plugin is causing a conflict.

    Please advise ASAP.

    I am sorry, we couldn’t delay the launch of the site. The decision was to switch to Yoast. Yet, we appreciate and definitely interested on the way you are thinking of the future of SEO Plugins.

    We could either setup a Dev site for you guys to test the plugins. And we will definitely support a Pro version (Paid).

    We are so sorry to hear that.

    Yes, we would love access to a staging website to find the issue.

    Do note that the fallback mechanism gets trigger if Rank Math detects a 404. We would love to check why it would be incorrectly classifying something as a 404 when it isn’t.
