    Hey RankMath Support Team,

Hope you’re doing well! I wanted to bring an issue to your attention regarding a conflict I discovered between RankMath and Elementor Pro plugins.

Whenever I finish editing a page using Elementor Pro, specifically the contact page, and hit the publish button, an error message pops up saying “origin X-origin referer is not valid header value.” As a result, the changes made on the page cannot be saved. This issue seems to occur only on certain pages like the contact page.

However, I noticed that when I deactivate the RankMath Sitemap Indexing plugin, everything works perfectly fine. It’s only when the Sitemap Indexing plugin is enabled that these errors arise.

Is there any way to resolve this conflict and ensure smooth functionality between RankMath and Elementor Pro, even with the Sitemap Indexing plugin enabled?

Your assistance in addressing this matter would be highly appreciated. Please let me know if there are any suggestions, solutions, or updates available.

Thanks a lot for your help!

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

This issue is usually caused by some plugin on your website that is not using the latest version of the Guzzle HTTP library and using a very old version that doesn’t include a fix to handle custom headers.

You can verify the same by performing a plugin conflict on the website and keeping only the Instant Indexing API plugin enabled try to submit a URL: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

You can then start enabling the plugins one by one to check which one is using the old version of the library mentioned above.

Once you have found the culprit, you can relay the same information to their developers.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.

    Hello Reinelle,
I got it all fixed. I actually had to remove the plug in cause I found out that my ecommerce store doesn’t need this plugin.
I found this link from Google API Indexing:

The Indexing API allows any site owner to directly notify Google when pages are added or removed. This allows Google to schedule pages for a fresh crawl, which can lead to higher quality user traffic. Currently, the Indexing API can only be used to crawl pages with either JobPosting or BroadcastEvent embedded in a VideoObject. For websites with many short-lived pages like job postings or livestream videos, the Indexing API keeps content fresh in search results because it allows updates to be pushed individually.

Thank you so much for your prompt support. Wish you and the team all the best!
