“Compilation failed” error

    Hi Support, I am getting an error message on any page I am trying to save today: http://prntscr.com/rdq31u

    Warning: preg_match_all(): Compilation failed: missing closing parenthesis at offset 35 in /home/londonwaterlooac/public_html/wp-content/plugins/seo-by-rank-math/includes/replace-variables/class-post-variables.php on line 317

    There is no error message if the plugin is deactivated. Can you please have a look. Thank you.

    Hi Vlad,

    Thanks a lot for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

    It seems like the auto-generated description from the focus keyword is throwing this error. Can you please let us know what focus keyword & content you have added in the Post so we can try and replicate this from our end?

    Ah, I see. The keyword contained an unclosed parenthesis and that does throw an error

    I edited the keyword, closed the parenthesis and it works as it should now. It still probably makes sense to foolproof it, though.
