    Hello,

i would like to know if there is a way to change the @id URL of all product pages.
I want to delete the #richSnippet at the end from it, because it has to be the same @id as the plain URL of the product page for synchronizing the @id with another which is loades from bazaarvoice.

    Best Regards
    Alex

  • Hello,

To change the @id URL of all product pages by removing the #richSnippet at the end, you can follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to Rank Math SEO Settings: Go to your WordPress dashboard and click on “Rank Math SEO.”

    2. Access Product Schema Settings: In the Rank Math settings, find the section related to Product Schema. You can usually find this under Titles & Meta or Schema Markup settings.

    3. Update the Product URL: Look for the field where you can specify the Product URL. Remove the #richSnippet from the end of the URL to synchronize it with another @id loaded from Bazaarvoice.

    Hello,

i couldnt find the right field for step three.
Is there such a field or do i need to use a filter hook, to customize the @id URL?

    Best Regards
    Alex

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting support.

The ID field in the Schema cannot be modified with any filters. That is hard-coded into the plugin to be used by the plugin for associations in the markup of the pages.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Hello,

is there a way we can change the hard-coded part of the plugin or does it affect any other elements or functionalities of it?

    Best Regards
    Alex

    Hello,

That information cannot be modified without affecting the entire Schema markup of the website. If you change the ID for a particular one it will change for all types and the plugin will start to generate uncompliant markup which could harm the SEO of the website.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
