  • Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your question about SEO titles.

It is completely normal for Google to include your brand name in the title automatically, even if you deliberately leave it out from your titles. This is done based on various factors, including keyword intent and other signals that Google uses to determine the title that will be shown to users.

If you wish to know more about Google’s guidelines on writing good titles, you can refer to the guidelines provided by Google here.

Please note that regardless of the SEO plugin you use, Google might append your brand name to the title for some keyword searches, and there is nothing you can do to force them to do otherwise.

I hope this information helps. Please feel free to let us know if you need further assistance with anything else.

Would love to hear from an expert.

    Hello,

Thank you for your query, and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

Yes, you can certainly have different titles for your page when viewed directly and when it appears in Google search results.

This involves setting a SEO meta title/snippet for the search engines while maintaining a different post/page title that is visible on the page itself.

However please note that it is not necessary that the SEO title you have set comes up on the serps. It is completely upto Google if they want to display your freperred seo title.

Google Might Choose Not to Use Your Title as it uses a number of signals to determine the title that will be shown to users, while the Title tag being the most preferred.

We hope that helps, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.
