  • Hello,

We apologize for the inconvenience you’re experiencing with setting your custom schema as the default schema for your posts.

To set a custom schema as the default schema for your posts, you can follow these steps:

    1. Head over to the edit screen for the post by clicking Edit.
    2. Open Rank Math in the Gutenberg sidebar by clicking on the Rank Math SEO icon for the page or click the three vertical dots in the top right-hand corner of the edit page and select Rank Math in the Plugins section.
    3. Navigate to the Schema settings by clicking on the Schema tab and then click on Schema Generator.
    4. In the Schema Generator, click the Custom Schema tab and create your custom schema.
    5. Once you’ve created your custom schema, you can save it as a template by clicking on Save as Template.

After saving your custom schema as a template, you can then access it under Rank Math SEO → Schema Templates. From there, you can apply it as the default schema for your posts.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to ask.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

The Custom Schema generator is only available using Rank Math PRO, but the account you have used to open this ticket is the Rank Math free version.

Can you please search and forward a receipt from FastSpring.com or the email address you used to purchase so we can locate your account and verify it?

Meanwhile, the predefined schemas in Titles & Meta are fixed so the custom schema you have made will not appear there.

If you want to set a default custom schema for a post type, then you should create it under Schema Templates:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/schema-templates/

Once done, set the Schema Type in Titles & Meta to None.

    Looking forward to helping you.
