Canonical URL does not change?

    When I change canonical tag, it does not change in source.

    [URL 1 IN THE SENSITIVE DATA SECTION] it must be self canonical and all listings in this category were self canonical until I installed rankmath. After installation parent directory:

    [URL 2 IN THE SENSITIVE DATA SECTION] became canonical to all the listings under that directory.
