    Hi,

first of all, loving the plugin 🙂

Can you help me with this:

When i run SEO analyzer, i get No canonical link tag found on your homepage.
I then went to the home page (it is static page) and on Advanced from Rankmath options enteredjust my domain: https://najamstanova.hr/ and updated the page

I purged the cache but the SEO analyzer still reports that canonical link tag is missing

  • Hello,

We’re glad to hear that you’re enjoying using Rank Math!

It seems like you’ve encountered an issue with setting the canonical URL for your homepage. To set the canonical URL for your homepage using Rank Math, you need to navigate to the Advanced tab of the Rank Math in your editor. If you’re unable to find the Advanced tab, please enable the advanced mode from WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Dashboard.

Once you’re in the Advanced tab, you can enter the canonical URL for your homepage. Here’s a screenshot for reference:

    Navigate to the Advanced tab

After updating the canonical URL, remember to save or update the page. If you’ve already done this and the SEO analyzer still reports that the canonical link tag is missing, it’s possible that there might be a caching issue or a conflict with another plugin.

Could you please check if there are any caching plugins or server-side caching that might be preventing the changes from reflecting? Additionally, disabling other SEO plugins temporarily can help identify if there’s a conflict.

If you’re still facing issues after checking these steps, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to assist you further.

Looking forward to helping you resolve this!

    Best regards.

I’ve cleared the LiteSpeed cache, on the cPanel and in LiteSpeed plugin, and waited, but it’s still missing.

    Hello,

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

Upon checking your homepage, it is set to noindex.

Please note that Rank Math automatically adds a self-referencing canonical URL to your whole site if it’s set to index.

You won’t need to fill up the canonical field under the advanced settings as it has a different purpose:

It seems that your whole site is set to noindex, and this usually happens when the Search engine visibility option is checked/enabled on your WordPress dashboard > Settings > Reading

You may need to ensure that it is unchecked and clear your website’s cache

    Hope that helps.
