Hi, i followed this tutorial: https://rankmath.com/blog/power-words/
Here you provide a list of german power words. If I use a random one (and keep also the spelling of your list) in my page title tag RM does not recognize it and gives me the warning: “Your title doesn’t contain…”. When I do the same with an english power word everything is fine.
    You should fix this, please.
    Regards
    Oliver

  • Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

What is the language of the WordPress backend of your website? If the language it’s in English, the detection will only parse the English words.

Only when the backend is in German, the plugin will start detecting the power words in that particular language.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Hi Miguel,
thank you for your quick reply.
Yes it is working now – I changed WP to German. But still it is only working kind of:
The power word I am using is “bewährt” (= proven). But in your list it is written “bewahrt”. If I’d like to use “bewährt” or “bewährtes” it is not matching and I get a notice that I am not using a power word.
I think in the past there. was another complaint about that because german adjectives are changing depending of the context. Sometime it is “bewährt”, sometimes “bewährte” or sometime “bewährtes”. And this goes for every adjective. How you will cope with this?
    Thanks again.

    Hello,

To pass the test, the keyword or content should be the exact match so Rank Math can detect it.

However, Search Engines are smart enough to understand that you’re trying to rank for that keyword. Also, these tests are just guidelines, and one does not need to follow them religiously. If you feel any of them doesn’t apply to your page, please feel free to ignore them.

Alternatively, you can add additional power words for Rank Math to detect by using the following filter: https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#add-custom-power-words

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.
