Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
I have tested it in my local installation but everything worked fine.
Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it could be a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/
Please let us know if you find the culprit.
Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
Looking forward to helping you.
I followed the troubleshooting instructions and the problem still exists. You still cannot save.
This is what your walkthrough says… With all plugins and your theme disabled, try reproducing the issue.
(a) If you still have the issue, your WordPress setup is the root of the problem.
Hi Cory,
If that doesn’t work, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
I have done some tests and even with Rank Math disabled your website seems to be unable to call the WordPress API to update features.
When bulk updating the keywords in Rank Math, Rank Math is sending a POST query to the WordPress site and it is returning a 403 error:
POST https://yourwebsite.com/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMetaBulk 403
You should contact your hosting support to check what is blocking those requests.
Looking forward to help you.
Hello,
Perfect, let us know what they tell you or if they solved it once you know it.
Looking forward to help you.
It is fixed. Wordfence was blocking. It was interesting because I had the Wordfence plugin installed on a different domain(same hosting) but not on the domain where I was having the problems. Once I installed Wordfence on the site it whitelisted the URL and all works fine. Thanks for your help.
