Cannot set canonical URL on site

    To set the canonical URL using Rank Math, please follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to the post or page you want to set the canonical URL for.
    2. Under the SEO tab, you should see the Rank Math meta box.
    3. Click on the Advanced tab within the Rank Math meta box.
    4. In the Canonical URL field, enter the URL that you want Google to index.
    5. Save or update your post or page.

    If you’re unable to find the Advanced tab, please ensure that you have enabled the Advanced Mode from the WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO.

    I need canonicals set automatically as the site has hundreds of posts… I can’t just set them all one by one…

    Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that this issue might have caused.

    You do not need to edit the canonical field for all pages/posts as Rank Math by default adds a self-referencing canonical tag to your site pages once they are set to index.

    Currently, your site is set to noindex:

    Once your site pages are set to index and cache cleared, the self-referencing canonical tag should appear.
