Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
We’ve checked your site and found that the following REST Routes we use to update the data are being blocked by your Wordfence firewall. Please check the screenshots in the sensitive data section for your reference.
/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta
/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateSchemas
/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateRedirection
In order to resolve this issue, please try to whitelist these routes on the firewall so that the data can be updated correctly on your website: https://rankmath.com/kb/whitelist-rank-math-in-wordfence/
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you.
great support help! The instructions were perfect.
Unfortunately ,this did not work. I cleared cache etc. I will try tonight to disable all the plugins and see if that helps.
Hello,
We’ve checked your site and we can confirm that the REST Routes are no longer getting blocked on your site. In this case, please get in touch with your web host and ensure that the ModSecurity is disabled or they are not blocking any process of the plugin.
Disabling ModSecurity should fix the issue.
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Disabling modsec seems like a bad idea. I should not have to disable security features to use a plugin.
I have deleted the plugin and moved on.
I thank you for your time.
Hello,
We deeply apologize for that.
One approach to resolve the issue is to whitelist our API route that handles the saving process instead of fully disabling ModSecurity.
You may refer to this guide here or you can contact the support folks from ModSecurity to assist you further with whitelisting said routes.
With that said, please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
