Trying to connect rank math to my wordpress. initially used my outlook account email, (which i was unable to use to get it connected) so, after searching it appeared that i needed a google account. So i opened a new Google email and now still can’t get my WP connected (including the logo or anything else i should be able to set up in “Startup Wizard”).

Hello,
I’m sorry to hear that you are facing issues connecting Rank Math to your WordPress website. To ensure a successful connection, please follow these steps:
- Disconnect Rank Math Account: If you initially connected Rank Math with your Outlook email and now want to switch to a Google account, you need to disconnect the current account. You can do this by navigating to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Dashboard → Help and choosing Disconnect Account as shown in the screenshot below:
- Connect Rank Math with Google Account: After disconnecting, click on Connect Now and select your Google account. Make sure to grant all the necessary permissions by clicking on Allow. Here is an example of how the connection process looks like:
- Activate Rank Math PRO Subscription: Once connected, you will be redirected to the plugin activation page. Choose the correct Rank Math PRO subscription from the dropdown list and click OK, ACTIVATE NOW.
By following these steps, you should be able to connect Rank Math to your WordPress website successfully. If you encounter any further issues or need additional assistance, please feel free to reply to this ticket, and our support team will be happy to help you further. Thank you for reaching out!

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Could you please confirm if you’re not able to connect with Rank Math Analytics? If so, please try to follow the steps below and see if that works for you:
1. Make sure that you have verified your website on Google Search Console, if not, follow this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/google-site-verification/
2. Please make sure that you are not connecting to Google Search Console via a domain property but rather a URL prefix and that you have verified the correct version of your website on the Google Search Console (HTTP or HTTPS, www or non-www).
3. Please remove RankMath’s app from your Google apps permissions: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
4. Once done, reconnect the Google account again from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and configure the Search Console and Analytics settings again.
Kindly check all necessary checkboxes to allow Rank Math to access some of the Google Services.
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
I followed the instructions you provided.
It appears that I am now connected to Google but my Analytics area is still blank and has a red dot, i assume the red dot means it’s not activated.
I can get into my analytics area but when i go back to my Startup Wizard (in order to follow the rest of the setup process) the absence of information being in the analytics section makes it not possible to proceed with the concern that i will be missing something that is required for the rest of the setup.
Thank you
Hello,
You can skip the Google Connection process in the Setup Wizard.
However, can you please confirm if you have an active Google Analytics account? You can follow this guideline to create a Google Analytics account for your websites: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/9304153?hl=en
In case, you have a Google Analytics account but on another email address, then you can follow this URL to transfer the property to the same email address: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/44500?hl=en
Once done, please try to reconnect your Google account again from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and see if that works for you.
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
