Both issues could be connected. Are you using any security plugin, like WordFence? We have seen it is sometimes blocking API requests so if you are using a security plugin, I would recommend testing if disabling it let you use those functions.
You can also try to deauthorize and authorize again Rank Math from the Search Console.

I have Wordfence installed but it has always been deactivated and I’ve deauthorised and authorised GSC a number of times without any luck. This started happening after an recent update in the last couple of weeks (I’m not sure which one).
Can it be something like a Cloudflare conflict? I have the site integrated with it.

I think we should log in to check what is the cause of the issue. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

I’m getting the same issues, I didnt have it when I first installed Rankmath a couple of weeks ago, now I have the same issue. We are attempting to make changes to the site for SEO but now have no idea what the effects of them are as its not linked.

We have been working on a fix and we have a solution. Since we cannot replicate this issue ourself, we request you to update to the below version of Rank Math by doing the following:
1. Remove Rank Math from WP > Plugins. Don’t worry, all your settings are safe in your database and they will return once you upload the below version.
2. Install this version of Rank Math on your website by uploading it from WP > Plugins > Add New.

3. Activate the Rank Math plugin after it is done uploading.
4. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard > Help
Connect to your Rank Math account.
5. Go to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Search Console
Re-Authorize your Google Search Console.
That’s it. The issue should not come back.

Hi, I’ve done this and I’ve been able to connect to the account, and Search console is working. However, I wasn’t able to pick a drop down, but the search console is connected and bringing in data. Thanks for your help.
