  • Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

When that happens in the live preview on most occasions is not an issue but rather a visual bug in the Schema generation, but that won’t happen in the actual live page and the source code should include adding the information from the product correctly.

You can also check if this situation is caused by a plugin conflict by following the steps in this tutorial and checking the Schema live preview again: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Regarding the feed for GMC, the Schema markup is not designed to be used as a feed for that platform but instead, it’s recommended that you submit a feed individually using a plugin designed for that purpose.

Our plugin will include the attributes of the product in the recommended way for Schema markup, but the GMC feed is slightly different in terms of requirements hence why a separate one should be used instead.

If you allow Google to crawl the product pages without a feed, these warnings are more likely to happen because of the missing information that is not possible to add inside the Schema markup.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

I don’t see how this can be a plugin conflict, if some of the prodcuts (new duplicates) are working as expected while the old ones are not. It is more likely a state issue of the config / plugin, is there a way to reset that ?

Would it be possible to recreate the schema using the pro version ? do you have any recommendations for good preferably free plugins for woocommerce and GMC ?

cheers and thanks for the help

    Hello,

Look at those products that produce the wrong results in the live preview test when they are actually loaded and you’ll likely see the Schema markup being outputted.

Also, please note that in this case it shouldn’t cause issues but you shouldn’t duplicate pages because it could cause issues in the Schema as we mention in our documentation here: https://rankmath.com/kb/duplicating-posts-schema-error/

Regarding the feeds, there are multiple options and one of the most popular free ones is the following: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-product-feed-pro/

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
