Analytics account not connecting - Support

Hi,

We had Rankmath running on our site as well as Site Kit, which was causing performance issues so we removed Site Kit. This caused our analytics to turn red on Rank Math so I have tried re-connecting my site with Google Analytics – it said that permissions were already granted but would not reconnect. I then followed your knowledge post and removed Rank Math from my Google Account before trying to connect again. This time it asked for permissions to be checked, which I did for all options. However the Analytics still won’t connect and I am seeing an error notice in the Search Console box which says “Data import will not work for this service as sufficient permissions are not given.”

Is there anything else I can do to give the permissions and reconnect the Analytics account?

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Please make sure that you are connecting the correct account and that you have allowed all the required permissions. Please follow these steps:

1. Please delete RankMath’s app from here:

https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

2. Reconnect the account inside Rank Math by clicking here and ensure that you approve all the permission notices that show up:
WP Dashboard >> Rank Math >> General Settings >> Analytics tab, and click the Reconnect link

Allow all the permissions on the next screen.

Hi, followed your steps again and unfortunately still got the same error message. The only difference I could see was that there was one less permission on my connection than on yours

Hello,

We wanted to let you know that we have released an update with a fix. We regret the inconvenience this must have caused but the update should sort it out. Please update to the latest version and try to reconnect again from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics.

If you face any other issues, do not hesitate to let us know.
