Add %term% to archive description in custom taxonomy

    I have several custom taxonomies. The global title is currently set to %term% %sep% Plant Families %sep% Plants %sep% %sitename% and this works as expected.

    The global archive description is set to %term_description% which also displays correctly.

    Problem I have:
    If I insert %term% in each snippet, it does display but I cannot get it to display globally.
    E.g. %term% %term_description% for the SEO meta description does not show %term% in the code snippet.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    I am using both the global and manually added term variables on the snippet and it seems to have worked from my end. Please see the screenshot in the sensitive data section.

    Ok I got it to work. I think I was adding the terms to the wrong field originally.
