ACF Gutenberg Block Fields are not considered for focus keyword analysis

Hey there,

we have ACF running on our site and the RankMath ACF add-on enabled. But it appears that ACF fields which are set through blocks are not considered in the content analysis for the focus keyword. How can we change that? I have searched the docs for this but they pertain on how to use ACF fields in other cirumstances. Docs pertaining ACF blocks https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/blocks/

There might be a solution in this post: https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/acf-blocks-are-not-in-the-ranking/ As somebody else might have had the same problem. But I cannot view that post.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Our plugin does read the content from ACF automatically when you enable the ACF module, but not for custom blocks created by the users, we only do that for data that comes directly from the blocks of ACF by default.

For any custom ones you might need to perform the actions here for them to be detected by the Content Analysis API: https://rankmath.com/kb/content-analysis-api/

You can refer to the example we include for custom fields to learn more about how to implement this.

In case you are not familiar with this, you will need to hire a developer that is confident working with WordPress to assist further with the implementation.
