    1. I have made the contact page earlier
    2. By mistake I changed the title of the page.
    3. And you know then the 404 occurs and redirections take place .
    4. But after some time of changing the title I read the note the RANKMATH HAS CREATED THE REDIRECTION OF THAT PAGE . AND IF YOU WANT TO EDIT IT THEN CLICK HERE.
    5. I saw that note and realised that oh by mistake I updated that page after changing the title . Then as per the note I opened that page and edited that and brought that in the actual title.
    6. But unfortunately . THE CORRECTION BECAME USELESS FOR ME . Because when I open the contact page 404 error occurs and redirections take place.
    My question is
how can I resolve this issue?
Means how this redirection and 404 removes bring this in the previous position
in such a way that I didn’t make any mistake in the title of the page .
Sir, it’s the beginning of my work and I don’t want 404 and redirects to come here.
Later on, when my workflow contains a lot of pages then it’s a different case .
I hope sir , you understand what i want to say
Kindly suggest to me what to do now .

  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing with the 404 errors and redirections on your contact page. It seems like Rank Math has automatically created a redirection for the page when you changed the title, causing the 404 error to persist even after correcting the title.

To resolve this issue and ensure that there are no more 404 errors or unwanted redirections on your contact page, you can follow these steps:

    1. Access Rank Math Redirections: Go to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to Rank Math > Redirections.

    2. Search for the Redirect: Look for the redirection that was automatically created for your contact page when you changed the title.

    3. Delete or Edit the Redirect: Once you find the redirection related to your contact page, you can either delete it or edit it to point to the correct URL without any errors.

    4. Save Changes: After deleting or editing the redirection, make sure to save the changes.

By following these steps, you should be able to remove the unwanted redirection and 404 error from your contact page. This will ensure that visitors can access the page without any issues.

If you encounter any difficulties or need further assistance, feel free to reply here, and our support team will be happy to help you.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to resolve this issue for you.

    Best regards.

One thing more I would like to bring into your notice that RANKMATH is creating not only redirection for 404 on contact page now it captured the whole site . it has created 301, 302 and 404 monitors for various pages . Its unbelievable. I thought that I must buy the pro one but in FREE I am facing so many problems then may be in PRO VERSION I will face doubled of this .
now shall I send you the screen shot or you guide me where I have made the mistake in setting up the plugin. Please Sir help me to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

    Hello,

You can upload screenshots using this tool and add the link here.

Please note that we only report the 404s. We do not have information on how or why they are generated.

You can get further insight into them by enabling the advanced monitor at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > 404 Monitor:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/monitor-404-errors/#advanced-404-monitor

That will give you more information like referrer and user-agent. You can use that information to track down the source or find out if it is just bots generating those errors.

You can also add them to the exclusion list at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > 404 Monitor > Exclude Paths.

    Looking forward to helping you.
