404: avoid redirection to Home?

    Hello.

    My website is in WP (DIVI) and I created a 404 in Divi’s Theme Builder. So when a url is typed in error, it should automatically lead to this specifically created 404. However, the error urls lead to my home page.

    I was wondering what was causing this…

    I’ve deactivated all my plugins and reactivated them one by one, and it seems that Rank Math is the cause of this redirection to my Home page.

    Can you help me so that the 404 errors lead specifically to the 404 I created in Divi and not to my Home?

    This happens when you have set your default fallback behavior to your homepage.

    Head over to Rank Math > General Settings > Redirections and set it to your default 404 page
