Hello,
I apologize for the issue you are facing with missing meta descriptions on Google search results. It can be frustrating to see your rankings affected by this.
To address the missing meta description concern, you can follow these steps:
-
Check Google’s Cached Version: Verify if Google has picked up the changes by entering cache:
followed by the full URL of the page into your search bar and pressing Enter. For example, you can enter `cache:https://rankmath.com/kb/different-meta-title-and-description/ to see when Google last cached the page.
-
Ensure Meta Description Quality: Make sure that the meta description is relevant, useful, and of high quality. Avoid just using a collection of keywords.
-
Avoid Duplicate Meta Descriptions: Ensure that each product has a unique meta description and avoid using the exact same meta description across multiple pages.
-
Check Search Intent: Confirm that the meta description matches what users are searching for, as Google might choose to display content from the page that better matches the search intent.
If after checking these points, the issue persists, it is at Google’s discretion to display the provided meta description. Sometimes Google may choose to show alternative text they find more relevant and useful.
You can also refer to the full article on Rank Math for more insights on why Google might not use the meta description you’ve provided.

Hello,
The max-snippet robots meta is set to 1 for the page you have shared:
It asks Google to show only one character in the meta description. Please edit the page page and set it to -1
in the Advanced tab of the meta box and wait for Google to recrawl the site: https://rankmath.com/kb/advanced-tab/
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
