  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing with your category pages getting indexed despite being marked as “noindex” in Rank Math settings.

To address this problem, you can follow these steps:

    1. Ensure that the noindex setting is correctly configured in Rank Math for your category pages. You can customize the Robots Meta for category archive pages by enabling the Category Archives Robots Meta option from Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta → Categories settings.

    2. Double-check the Advanced Robots Meta settings in Rank Math to control how the snippets of your category archives appear on search results.

    3. Verify that there are no conflicting settings or plugins overriding the Rank Math settings.

If after checking these steps, the issue persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting support.

The page you shared is now correctly set to noindex but on April 22nd that page was set to be indexed and that’s when Google last saw that robots meta setting on the page, hence why it’s indexed.

Now that the page has the correct settings, Google will see the same and over the course of the next weeks if the settings remain untouched it will de-index this page.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.

    Hello,
