  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re facing issues with displaying the featured image when sharing your blog posts on Facebook. If you do not want to set a default image for every blog post using Rank Math settings, you can ensure that the featured image is the one displayed when sharing on Facebook.

When sharing a blog post on Facebook, the platform usually picks up the featured image set for that specific post. To make sure the featured image is displayed correctly, please ensure the following:

    1. Check Featured Image: Double-check that a featured image is set for each blog post. You can do this by editing the individual blog post and setting a featured image within the WordPress editor.

    2. Image Size & Format: Ensure that the featured image meets Facebook’s recommended image size of 1200px X 630px and is in a supported format (jpeg, png, or gif). Facebook may not display images that do not meet these criteria.

    3. Sharing Process: When sharing the blog post on Facebook, make sure to select the option to include the featured image in the post preview.

By following these steps, you should be able to ensure that the featured image is displayed when sharing your blog posts on Facebook without setting a default image for every post.

If you have any further questions or need assistance, feel free to ask.

Thank you for reaching out with your concern.

Now how to make sure to ensure that the feature image in included to be shown on facebook when it is shared… Above all, i have fulfilled every condition, except that the my feature images have 1200*600 dimension. I don’t think it has any problem as every blog post image was shown when i previously shared my blog post on facebook.

    Hello,

Could you please share the affected URL so we can check as well?

Meanwhile, if you want to use the featured image to be shown on Facebook, then you should follow the recommended size/resolution (1200px X 630px).

    Looking forward to helping you.

If your image file name isn’t in English facebook won’t show it.
It’s a known issue for about a month or so.

i think all my blog post i shared previously is affected, noneof my shared blog post is showing featured image. It was not the same the last time i checked before yesterday, but yesterday i shared blog post which was not showing my feature image. I checked my other shared post also, featured image of them were also missing.

i think this could be correct answer, because i just tried to share some English blog post which might have their feature image file name in English, the images of this blog post were displayed on Facebook. Now please tell me how this file names of all others feature images in English

    Hello,

Yes, there are users who have also reported that the image is not shown when the file name is not in English or if they are using special characters:

In this case, we recommend renaming your featured images to English so Facebook can display the images on your blog posts.

    Looking forward to helping you.
