Question about rank math url’s

    Hello, I am currently doing a SEO job for a Bulgarian website, and we are wondering how to make the permalink,if we we type them in Bulgarian the url goes very long as it uses many symbols for each letter written in Bulgarian, so I wanted to know if we make the url’s in Bulgarian, but by using Latin letters instead, will they be indexed the same way? As we really need to shorten the URL’s.

    Also I wanted to ask will the url affect the ranking as the moment I type the url with latin the rank math score drops as it doesn’t find it in the url ?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.

    The URL length isn’t a huge ranking factor. Since your site’s content is in Bulgarian, you should use the slug in the same language and can ignore the URL length recommendation. To pass the test, you will have to make sure that the slug includes the exact keyword.
