Almost all of my FAQ blocks are showing a “attempt block recovery” is there a way to do this site wide vs finding all individual posts requiring this?
-
Hello,
I apologize for the inconvenience you are facing with the “attempt block recovery” message on your FAQ blocks. To address this issue site-wide instead of handling individual posts, you can follow these steps:
- Head over to Rank Math SEO → Status & Tools in your WordPress dashboard.
- Navigate to the Database Tools tab. If you don’t see this tab, ensure you are in the Advanced Mode in Rank Math.
- Scroll down to find the Yoast Block Converter option. This option will be available only if Rank Math has detected any Yoast FAQ blocks on your site.
- Click on the Convert Blocks button. Rank Math will start converting your existing FAQ Blocks from Yoast to Rank Math site-wide.
Please note that the process may take some time based on the number of posts with FAQ Schema. Kindly remain patient and avoid navigating away from the page until the conversion process is complete.
Once the conversion is done, you should receive a confirmation message on the screen, indicating the number of posts that have been successfully converted.
After this process, you can check any of your posts to verify that the Yoast FAQ Blocks have been replaced by Rank Math FAQ Blocks throughout your site.
If you encounter any issues during this process or need further assistance, feel free to reach out to us through the support ticket system.
Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention. We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue for you.
Warm regards.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused.
Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
If the issue persists, then we might need to take a closer look to the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
