TOC not reading the headings.

    I’ve been using RankMath’s TOC since long, however I’ve facing issues with it lately.
    TOC has stopped reading the headings of my blog. I use the default WordPress editor which is supported by RanMath (I’ve read other users with the same issue and apparently, the problem was with editors like Gutenberg and Elementor).
    I would appreciate any help/support on this issue.

    P.S. I haven’t changed any settings in TOC. It functioned very well in my other blogs till now. I also checked the “Exclude Headings” section of TOC and made sure that it is unchecked.

    I apologize for the inconvenience you are facing with Rank Math’s Table of Contents not reading the headings in your blog. If the TOC has stopped detecting the headings, please ensure that you have not excluded any headings from appearing in the table.

    To check this, please follow these steps:

    1. Click on the Table of Contents block.
    2. Navigate to Settings.
    3. Head to Block → Settings → EXCLUDE HEADINGS and confirm that no headings are excluded from appearing in the table.

    If you have verified that no headings are excluded and the issue persists, our team is aware of a bug that may cause higher-level headings to disappear when you add a lower-level heading before a higher-level one. We are actively working on resolving this issue in a future update.

    In the meantime, you can monitor our changelog here for any updates related to this bug.

    Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
