  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you are facing issues with the regex redirection not reflecting live on your website. To set up regex redirects in Rank Math, you can follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to Redirections: Go to your WordPress Dashboard and navigate to Rank Math SEO > Redirections.

    2. Add a New Redirection: Click on Add New to create a new redirection.

    3. Set Up Regex Redirect: In the Source URLs field, add your regex pattern. For example, if you want to redirect URLs containing a specific word, you can use a regex pattern like ^specific-word/(.*). Replace specific-word with the word you want to match.

    4. Destination URL: In the Destination URL field, specify where you want the matched URLs to redirect to. Make sure to include $1 to preserve the rest of the URL after the matched pattern.

    5. Activate the Redirect: Ensure that you activate the redirect by setting the status to Activate.

    6. Save the Redirect: Click on Add Redirection to save your regex redirect.

If the redirection is not working as expected, please double-check your regex pattern and destination URL for any errors. You can refer to our detailed knowledge base articles on regex redirects for more examples and guidance.

If you need further assistance or if the issue persists, please feel free to reply here, and a human agent from our support team will assist you promptly.
