DOKAN/RANKMATH – SELLER DASHBOARD – ADD / EDIT PRODUCT – SEO: RankMath Module is

To address this, you should verify the Role Manager settings to ensure that the AI module is disabled for the Vendors Role.

And reconnect your website to your Rank Math account:

The permissions from our role manager functionality won’t work with Dokan because that uses a method of editing the products in the frontend and the check to see if a user is able to see a particular section of the plugin is triggered by the action cmb2_admin_init.

Since that action is only triggered in the WordPress backend, and since Dokan is loaded in the frontend for the vendors, the capabilities cannot be controlled with the role manager from our plugin.

Unfortunately, this cannot be changed with a simple filter and we can’t make these changes in the plugin at the moment as it would require a complete rewrite of multiple modules.

Yes, that suffers from the same issue as the role manager and the fact that Dokan is allowing editing in the frontend.

We’ll evaluate this situation and see what improvements can be made in the future for situations like this.
