Hello,
I apologize for the issue you are facing with your website’s indexing on Google. Based on the information you provided, it seems that Google is encountering a redirect error when trying to crawl your page. This could be due to a redirect chain, a redirect loop, bad URLs in the redirect chain, or a redirect URL that exceeds the maximum URL length.
To address this issue, you should investigate the redirect setup on your website, especially from HTTP to HTTPS, as this transition might be causing the problem. Ensuring a smooth and correct redirection from HTTP to HTTPS can help resolve the indexing issue.
Regarding your concern about the home page (https://rankmath.com/kb/alternate-page-with-proper-canonical-tag/), if this is the intended canonical URL for your website, it should be indexed by Google. You can verify the indexing status of your home page directly in Google Search Console.
Additionally, the detection of 19 404 errors on your website could also impact indexing. It’s essential to address these 404 errors by setting up proper redirects or fixing broken links to ensure a better user experience and improve indexing.
If you need further assistance in resolving these issues or have any more questions, please feel free to provide additional details or screenshots so we can assist you effectively. Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention.

1) To further clarify, what is meant by: you should investigate the redirect setup on your website, especially from HTTP to HTTPS, as this transition might be causing the problem. I am not sure how the redirect setup was established by the host (IONOS.com). What questions do I need to ask them?
2) Regarding intended Canonical URL, I am not sure exactly how this condition applies. The website has 10 distinct webpages, 11 project pages, 16 post pages.
3)I am not sure why the 404 Monitor is detecting 404s in the content of the website. There is currently 50 – 404s detected.
Would it be better if I give you access to our wp account to do a quick review?
Hello,
First, your homepage contains a broken link to your logo, and it is still on HTTP

You may update the image URL to the correct one or upload a new logo with the secured URL (HTTPS).
1. Please share the URL you have inspected so we can further investigate the issue.
Also, the URL http://akc-goldenretrieverpuppies.com/home is redirecting to your homepage. If that is the expected behavior, then Google is correct that the link is redirected correctly.
2. You may share the URL with the canonical issue as well so we can check. If you want to share the whole report, you can take a screenshot of it using this tool and add the link here.
3. Please note that we only report the 404s. We do not have information on how or why they are generated.
You can get further insight into them by enabling the advanced monitor at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > 404 Monitor:
https://rankmath.com/kb/monitor-404-errors/#advanced-404-monitor
That will give you more information like referrer and user-agent. You can use that information to track down the source or find out if it is just bots generating those errors.
You can also add them to the exclusion list at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > 404 Monitor > Exclude Paths.
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you. I’ll need some time to review and implement your suggestions, then Ill get back to you.
1) I updated a new logo.
2) The redirect was associated with home page. Since anyone who uses http address is redirected to the https address, I am not sure why the home page is not indexed if in face it is not. I made screenshots of the full report from Google Search Console.

https://imgur.com/a/0rhevBv Google Search Console Report (cont.)
I am not sure why so many pages are not being indexed.
3) Regarding 404s, except for the logo in item 1, I am not sure why the other 404s are being detected. https://imgur.com/a/nv82OhQ Partial 404 report
I really want to use Rank Math for SEO, but much of this troubleshooting is beyond my skillset. Perhaps it would be faster if I share access to our wp website console.
Hello,
Please click the “Page with redirect” in your screenshot, then share the image so we can check the URL in question.
Regarding the 404s, you should only fix the URL that should not return an actual 404 like your logo.
If the URLs look made up like ?author=1
or .js.map
, then you can simply ignore them as they could be just bots generating them. You can also add in the exclude path option.
Here’s a link for more information on how to deal with them:

Looking forward to helping you.
Hello,
If you click this area (see screenshot), you should see the affected URL which is the information we need to know.
If the URL shown there is this particular URL (http://akc-goldenretrieverpuppies.com/home
), then that is expected to see because that URL is redirecting to the correct homepage which is https://akc-goldenretrieverpuppies.com/
and we can confirm that Google is indexing it already:

As for the 31 URLs that aren’t still indexed, the Discovered – currently not indexed status, indicates that Google already knows about these URLs, but decided to not index them yet.
Here is what Google says about this status:
Discovered – currently not indexed: The page was found by Google, but not crawled yet. Typically, Google tried to crawl the URL but the site was overloaded; therefore Google had to reschedule the crawl. This is why the last crawl date is empty on the report.
You need to wait for Google to crawl and index those URLs. Please refer more to this guide as well: https://rankmath.com/kb/discovered-currently-not-indexed/
Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any other questions.
