Hello,
I’m sorry to hear about the sudden drop in traffic on your website. I understand how concerning this situation can be for you.
There could be several reasons why your pages are not visible in the SERPs despite being indexed. Here are a few common issues that might be causing this problem:
-
Algorithmic Updates: Google frequently updates its algorithms, and these updates can impact your website’s visibility in search results. You can check if the drop in traffic correlates with any recent algorithm updates by using tools like Rank Math PRO. Here’s a guide on how to do that: Google Algorithm Updates.
-
Indexation Status: Monitor your website’s indexation status using tools like Google Search Console or Rank Math’s Index Status report. These tools can help identify any errors that Google has encountered while crawling and indexing your site. Here’s how you can do it with Rank Math: Index Status Report in Rank Math’s Analytics.
-
Security Issues: Security issues on your website can also cause it to disappear from Google search results. Check for any security issues using the Malware report in Google Search Console. Once resolved, you can submit a reconsideration request to Google for re-indexing.
-
Content Duplication: Duplicate content on your website can lead to indexing issues. Ensure there is no duplication on the pages you want to index. You can use canonical URLs to point to the original content. Here’s more information on how to handle content duplication: Canonical URL.

Hello,
Sorry for the experience you had while using the plugin. We will try our level best to help you get to the bottom of this.
There are a few things you have to keep in mind when using any SEO plugin, not just Rank Math.
1. An SEO plugin alone cannot bring down or bring up the traffic in a day (or even a few days) unless incorrect Meta Tags are used by setting up the plugin improperly. That’s why we have a detailed tutorial on that:
https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-setup/
2. All the SEO plugins add Meta tags for the search engines which can be checked by viewing the source of a page. For instance, here:
view-source:https://rankmath.com/
Other popular plugins generate similar tags:

And with the Rank Math plugin, additional tags are added to a page so search engines can understand the content on a website better.
3. Google brings a new algorithmic update several times a month and the chances are great that your website got hit by that.
We have a full guide on that: https://rankmath.com/blog/google-algorithm-update-recovery/
Since you are using Rank Math PRO, you can even see if the drop in traffic correlates to an algorithm update. Here’s how:

So, to start we would recommend a complete SEO audit by following the steps here: https://rankmath.com/blog/seo-audit/
Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you.
