Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
I tried what was suggested and it made no difference.
What do I try next?
Hello,
Please clear your website and server cache after following the steps we have shared above.
If the issue persists, you may try clearing the notification from your database. You should be able to find a key named rank_math_notifications
under the options
table in your database.
Once you find the notification there, you can simply delete the option for that notification entirely.
Please note that we always recommend when working with databases, you have to be extra careful and suggest you create a backup first.
Let us know how it goes.
I have cleared browser and server caches with no results.
You actually want me to make edits to my database just to get your plugin working properly?
Isn’t that an extreme measure?
Also, I do not want to turn off such notices altogether, I just don’t know why it has it in its head that Projects are even a new post type at all and then why it won’t accept me modifying the configuration for Projects to move on from that post type.
Hello,
The notification should go away after dismissing it. Since it isn’t, the only solution is to delete the option from the database. The option will be generated again once there is a new notice from our plugin. If you want us to check this further, please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
