  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re facing issues connecting your sitemap URL provided by Rank Math to Google Search Console. To troubleshoot this issue, please follow these steps:

    1. Check if Your Sitemap is Accessible:
      • Use this tool to enter your sitemap URL and check the status to identify any issues preventing Googlebot from accessing your sitemap.

Check if sitemap is accessible in httpstatus tool

    1. Exclude Sitemaps from Caching:

    2. Ensure Correct Sitemap Submission:

      • Make sure you have submitted the correct sitemap. You should submit sitemap_index.xml and ensure that all inner sitemaps (like post-sitemap.xml) are showing up in your Google Search Console when clicking on sitemap_index.xml file.

If after following these steps you still face issues, please feel free to reach out to our support team directly by assigning this ticket to a human agent using the available buttons. We are here to assist you further.

Thank you for raising this concern, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue for you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

From your screenshot, you’re submitting the whole URL. Please put sitemap_index.xml only in the field and submit it.

Also, you’re submitting a subdomain (preview-domain) instead of the domain itself. You need to add a new property in your Google Search Console to add that sub-domain.

    Hope that helps.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
