Hello,
This usually happens when your site is under a multisite environment. Could you please confirm?
If that is so, then you may need to follow our guide here to properly activate the Rank Math plugin:
https://rankmath.com/kb/installing-rank-math-on-a-multisite-environment/#install-free-versionIf you’re not using it on a multisite, then try skipping the connection and continue the process in the Setup Wizard.
Let us know how this goes.
Hi.
It is not a multisite.
Hello,
In this case, please uninstall the Rank Math plugin on your site by following these steps:
https://rankmath.com/kb/uninstall/If the issue persists after installing it again, then we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
That did not solve the issue. It is not working. Everything went well on 33 websites but on this its just impossible.
I have included WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section in the first post.

Hello,
The Setup Wizard page was not working on your site because the user with the role
Webbyrå
didn’t have the required capability to connect to the site and view the Wizard page. We are not sure why that happened because the capabilities are assigned during the plugin installation.I have now assigned all the required capabilities to the role
Webbyrå
and that seems to have fixed the issue. Can you please confirm?Hope that helps.
Okay. I understand. Thanks for your support, everything works fine now.
Hello,
Glad that helped.
Please feel free to reach out to us again in case you need any other assistance.
