Please note that our plugin is only compatible with the URL prefix properties and it doesn’t fully support fetching data from domain properties (sc-domain:yourdomain.com). Also, the IndexStatus feature doesn’t work with it.

If Google is unable to verify the ownership, please try to clear your website cache including any server-level cache, and check again.

I created a new URL Prefix property for https://akc-goldenretrieverpuppies.com. It kept the old domain property and added the new URL Prefix property successfully. BUT I was not given the opportunity to select the HTML tag verification, no MTML tag was created to copy, and I didn’t enter the html tag into the search console verification page. So I really do not know if it has been verified? See the attached image:

Should I delete both properties and start over?

We deeply apologize for the unexpected delay in response. Your previous reply seems to have been stuck in our drafts section for some reason.
Please note that the HTML tag is only required to verify your website on Google Search Console. If your website is already verified, you can ignore the HTML tag.
If you already created the URL prefix property, if you want, you can delete the domain property from your Google Search Console.
Once done, please try to reconnect your Google account from WP Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and then configure your Google Search Console settings properly.

Thank you for your response. Does Rank Math plugin require that the domain property be deleted for the plugin to function properly? In General Setting: Analytics, if the Site in the Search Console is changed from sc-domain:akc-goldenretrierverpuppies.com to https://akc-goldenretrieverpuppies.com (the url prefix property) will this change provide rank math the connection needed to function properly. I tried both reconnect and disconnect. Neither would allow me to enable the Index Status Tab with the url prefix property. It only can be enabled with the domain property selected in the site dropdown box.
I ask because Google states that multiple properties provide better SEO.

You don’t have to delete any of your properties to use Rank Math, you have the option to select which of the properties you want to use with Rank Math.
The Domain Property type does not work with the Index Status feature, only the URL-prefix property type will work with Index Status. If you’re unable to get Rank Math to work, please share your website access with us in the sensitive data section and we’d be happy to help take a look.

Thank you, Index status tab is now enabled. I am still not sure exactly how Rank math is connecting to other search engines if you can answer in this ticket. Also in the Future, What specifically do you me to do to provide you website address? User access with admin privileges?

1. Rank Math does not connect to any other search engine, all the data displayed on Rank Math > Analytics are imported and recalculated from your data in Google Analytics and Search Console.
We do allow you to verify your website property with other search engines, Bing and Yandex.
2. When you want to share your website access with us, you can simply create a new admin user and share the username and password with us – OR you can us a temporal passwordless login plugin, like this one. You can use this information to create the link.
