Hello,
I’m sorry to hear that several of your pages are not indexed. To address the “Discovered – currently not indexed” status in Google Search Console, you can follow these steps:
-
Check How Many Pages Are Affected: Start by checking how many pages of your website are affected. If it’s just a few pages, there’s probably no need to worry as Google will likely index those pages soon.
-
Ensure Your Robots.txt Rules Allow Indexing: Make sure your website’s robots.txt rules allow your website to be indexed. Incorrect robots.txt settings can prevent Google from indexing your pages.
-
Check for Poor Internal Link Structure: Poor internal linking can hinder indexing. Ensure that your important pages have internal links from relevant pages on your website.
-
Address Content Duplication Issues: Content duplication can lead to indexing problems. Check for any duplicate content on the pages you’re trying to index and add canonical URLs pointing to the original content.
-
Consider Website Age: If your website is new (less than a few months old), it’s normal for some pages to be marked as “discovered – currently not indexed.” Be patient as Google will eventually index all pages.
-
Check If Your Website Is Blocked By Google: If you suspect a penalty, search for your website on Google. If you don’t see it in the search results, your site may be penalized. Address any issues causing the penalty before Google indexes your site.

I need assistance pls
Hello,
Thank you for your patience.
The Discovered – currently not indexed indicates Google has discovered the page, and even wants to crawl the page. But this was expected to cause an overload on the site, hence Google has rescheduled the crawl.
As a result, Google may delay this crawl for several days after it has been discovered, and the crawl status would remain empty until then.
