Hello,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re facing difficulties adding new page titles and descriptions in Rank Math. If you can edit existing titles and descriptions but not add new ones, it might be due to a specific setting or configuration.
To add new page titles and descriptions using Rank Math, please follow these steps based on the editor you are using:
Using the Gutenberg Editor:
- Navigate to the post/page where you want to add the SEO metadata.
- Click on the Rank Math icon at the top right corner of the WordPress menu.
- In the General tab, you can add your title and description.

Using the Classic Editor:
- Go to your post/page editing screen.
- Scroll down to locate the Rank Math SEO Meta Box.
- In the Rank Math SEO General tab, you can add your SEO title and description.

If you encounter any issues while following these steps, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue for you.
Warm regards.

Hello,
Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.
Can you please check if you have enabled SEO Controls for your product categories? You can check that in Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Product categories.
If that is enabled, please check in the individual product categories if there’s a meta title/description explicitly added there. That usually overrides the meta information you have added in the global settings.
If the issue persists, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.
