Issues with slow pages, star ratings on schema, Low HTML./text etc

    1. Is it possible to have the Star Rating using schema show up on our credit card reviews?

    2. Most of my articles/posts/Pages on credit cards, especially our reviews, our way over what others have done. Rankmath and Semrush many show an average of 2, 000 words but our review may show 12,000 words. I have seen in many SEO tutorials that this may not be beneficial. I thought Google wanted the best User experience? What should I do?

    3. Semrush is showing me that many of my pages have a low HTML to Text %,under 10% in these cases. These same pages usually have 5 or 6 photos plus more than 5,000 words. How can this be? How do I solve this if it’s true.

    4. I have just started getting an error ‘Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response’. Do you think this is a problem with my theme, my Web Host or Sucuri pro that I just paid for and they configured a vpn. Is there a way for me to figure this out?

    5. Some of our categories have an underscore in them so I watched one of your videos on 301 redirect but I’m not completely sure when to use this feature.
Is this a case where Windows will do it for me?

    6. Also regarding 301 redirects”
If I just change the page title do I need to use a 301?

If I change the slug do I need to use a 301?

    7. Most important question of all – Our Sitemap. We use Rankmath for this.

I have over 180 pages available to be scanned by bots. However, it looks like my sitemap is only showing 90. If I look at site:smartwealthmanagement.org it only shows about 40 pages. If I do a Scan with my Guru version of Semrush I see over 180 pages. How can I get the RankMath sitemap to show all my pages that I want bots to see?

    8. We have an A rating with GTmetrix and an 85 with Google Page speed but 10 of our pages are showing slow page speeds. 4secs to almost 15secs(varies) and these pages do not have much on them. How do I find out what the problem is?

All of these are page 2,3,4 etc of and original page that loads fast (Guides/articles)

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for the unexpected delays and any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    1. To obtain a star rating on any type of page, we have created a dedicated guide for that. Please visit that guide here: https://rankmath.com/kb/earning-star-ratings-in-serps/

    2. While it’s true that Google values user experience, excessive length of content can sometimes lead to diminishing returns if it’s not adding substantial value. Rather than focusing solely on word count, prioritize quality and relevance – while keeping it natural. Ensure your lengthy reviews offer comprehensive insights, valuable analysis, and practical advice that genuinely enriches the user experience.

If your page does contain that amount of words to cover the details of that card review, then you can ignore the recommendations from both Rank Math and Semrush as long as relevancy is still present.

    3. A low text-HTML ratio refers to a situation where the amount of text content on a web page is low compared to the amount of HTML code used to structure the page. This can happen when your theme or the type of content uses excessive HTML tags, scripts, and other non-text elements that do not contribute to the actual content of the page.

However, since you are only using image tags as your form of content, you may also disregard the evaluation from Semrush.

    4. Please follow this guideline to help you with that: https://rankmath.com/blog/fix-invalid-json-error/

    5. Can you please explain your concern here in more detail? Please share any affected URLs or any screenshots so we can help you better.

    6. You don’t need to apply redirections when changing your post/page title. However, if you change the permalink/slug, that’s where you need to implement the redirection. Here’s a guide you can follow: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-redirect-posts-after-changing-urls/

    7. Please follow the steps below to address this issue:

STEP 1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

STEP 2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

STEP 3. Apply the following filter code to your site.

    add_filter( 'rank_math/sitemap/enable_caching', '__return_false');

Here’s how you can add filter to your WordPress site:https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

    8. Can you please share some of the affected page URLs so we can take a closer look at them?

    Looking forward to helping you.
