Changing Permalink Structure

To create a redirection for the change in permalink structure using Rank Math, you can use Regex (Regular Expression) with Rank Math. Here’s how you can do it:

1. Navigate to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Redirections.

2. Add the following regex in the Source URLs field:

   ^%postname%/(.*)

3. In the Destination URL field, add the following regex (replace “mydomain.com” with your actual domain name):

   https://rankmath.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/auto-post-redirect.jpg

Once you’ve added these settings, click the Add Redirection button for the changes to take effect.

This will automatically redirect the already indexed posts in the search results to the new URLs based on the new permalink structure.

You can’t create a regex rule for that, as it will affect all the URLs of your site and will create a redirection loop. You will have to create the redirects manually, or use the Redirection plugin’s permalink migration option to redirect the old permalink structure to the new one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/
