Hello ,
I face a problem with the permalink structure.
I have enabled in rankmath’s woo settings ,
Remove base
and Remove category base .

in woo’s permalink section I have

Custom base = /shop/%product_cat%/
Product category base = product-category
Custom Structure = /blog/%postname%/

The url’s are https://domain.tld/main_cat/child/child/product_slug .
The urls are working as intended when you surf on site and you are following the menus.
If someone thought remove the menu hierarchy and goes to https://domain.tld/product_slug
it doesn’t get redirected to https://domain.tld/main_cat/child/child/product_slug and it works as https://domain.tld/product_slug .

What I am missing here?

I have saved the permalinks again but it is not working .

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Unfortunately, the “Remove base”, Remove category base” options don’t remove your parent and child category slugs from your product URLs.

In order to achieve this, you can use an external plugin like Permalink Manager Lite which will allow you to remove the parent category slug from your ULRs.
