Hi there,
Just installed Rank Math basic onto a live website that was running Yoast. I transferred all the Yoast data and connected Rank Math to my account. All good there.I have a couple of custom post types. When I click in the left column for one of my custom post types, I have the option to see “All Posts” just like any other WordPress post type. On the landing page, it shows all your posts, with columns of information that I can turn on and off with the “Screen Options” drop down, which is specific for each page.
I have toggled on Seo Details, Seo Title and Seo Desc. What happens in Yoast in that case is the actual SEO title is parsed, as is the description.
With your plugin, the titles are %title% %page% %sep% %sitename% which obviously is the unparsed variables that have been setup in the plugin.
Same goes for Desc. It just shows %excerpt% for every post.
I would obviously expect these values to parse. I see a little pencil above each column, but I certainly hope you’re not going to tell me it’s so I can manually type in the values…
We run a bunch of websites and pay for Yoast premium on most of them. We are considering your plugin as an alternative as cost-cutting measure, but if the setup and usage are going to set us back several weeks we’ll just have to stick with what we have. Appreciate the opportunity to try this out. Once again, we are using the “free” version.
Thanks!
G
